Disappointing December 26, 2008

If I had listened to Il Divo's latest offering before purchasing, I wouldn't have!...the voices, as always, are terrific but these renditions fail to tug at the heart strings...the last cut, Amazing Grace, is the only song I found memorable - the addition of bagpipes is a lovely touch and thankfully, it is performed in English!

Their 1st album is the best to me and this one is still good in voice part but lacks emetion. It's like they don't try hard to put a decent album with their heart and soul. Only a few song such as Amazing Grace is nice!
This group is created by Simon Cowell and out of the blue, they are called the "Divo", the name does sound good but the material must match the name. in this album, they just put songs all over the map, not really a theme. I am disappointed and will never buy their CD again.

Wow, what can you say about IlDivo? These voices are incredible. Some cuts need to be listened to a couple times, yet you have to love some of the cuts the first time you hear them. If you like IlDivo, you will like this recording.
